Glenn A. Saline, 64, of Oneida, IL passed away at 1:05 pm, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, IL.

Glenn was born November 9, 1957, in Galesburg, IL the son of John Alfred “Jack” and Mary Regina (Cox) Saline.  He was raised and educated in Rio and graduated from ROVA High School in 1975.  Glenn later graduated from Blackhawk East Community College with a degree in Agriculture in 1977.

Glenn married Angela Clevenger in Alexis, IL on June 21, 1986, and she survives.

Glenn farmed along with being the owner/operator for 28 years with his partner, Roger Saline, of Apex Pork near Rio, IL.

He was a member and youth group leader at the Rio Presbyterian Church.   He coached children’s basketball and baseball teams. Glenn was an extremely hard worker teaching his children the way of being a good farmer.  His life’s focus was his children and farming.

Survivors include his wife, Angie Saline of Oneida, IL; 3 sons, Ross Saline of Victoria, IL, Evan (Kayla Stewart) Saline of Galesburg, IL and Grant Saline of Denver, CO; 1 granddaughter, Rowan Marie Saline of Galesburg, IL; his father, Jack Saline of Rio, IL; 6 siblings, Sue Saline of Castro Valley, Ca, Dale (Petra) Saline of Rio, IL, Mary Saline of Rio, IL, Wayne (Barb) Saline of Rio, IL, Leslie Styles of Oceanside, CA and Paul (Beth) Saline of Rio, IL; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his brother-in-law, Duane Styles.

Cremation has been accorded.  A private family service and interment will take place at a later date.  Memorials may be given to the Oneida American Legion or the American Cancer Society and sent to the funeral home.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.  For more information or to leave an online condolence please visit, www.mcguireanddaviesfuneralhome.com.
