Janet E Struble

Janet E. Struble, 75, of Rio, IL died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 5:13 pm at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.

Janet was born March 31, 1943 in Monmouth IL, the daughter of Joseph C. and Helen Marie (Simonson) Struble. She was raised and educated in Kirkwood and Little York, having graduated from Kirkwood High School in 1961.

After high school, Janet dedicated many years to working as a nurse’s aide in several medical and nursing facilities. In 2005, Janet retired as a security guard for Case/New Holland in Burlington, IA.

Surviving members of Janet’s family include 2 brothers; David (Lisa) Struble of Rio, IL; James F. Struble of Monmouth, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death are her parents; 1 sister, Alice Marie Wells; and 2 brothers, Thomas Stuble and Robert J. Stuble.

Cremation has been accorded. There will be a Celebration of Life from 12:30-3:30 pm on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Little York Community Center. A private family burial at Raritan Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Richard L, Owens Hospice Home, Peoria, IL McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
