Jaxson Lee Engle

Jaxson Lee Engle, precious infant son of Douglas S. and Kellie N. (Barron) Engle, was born on September 30, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Though his time on earth was brief, Jaxson filled every moment with immeasurable love and touched the hearts of all who knew him. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his devoted family, on November 27, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Jaxson leaves behind a loving family who cherishes his memory deeply. He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Brody Shultz and Norbert Bennington; and two sisters, Zoey Shultz and Aubrie Engle. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Tammy Miller, and maternal grandparents, Thomas Brown and Nicol Barron. In addition, Jaxson is lovingly remembered by his aunts, Jennifer Sprague, Shannon Engle, and LeAnn Barron; his uncle, Bradley Engle; and many extended family members who held him close in their hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the AmericInn (1 AmericInn Way, Monmouth, IL 61462).  The family welcomes any food or beverages friends would like to bring. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials can be made to the Jaxson Engle Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
