John M. Dean, Jr

John M. Dean, Jr, 72, of Monmouth, IL passed away at 3:10 am, Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the OSF Richard Owens Hospice House, Peoria, IL. 

John was born June 21, 1952, in Clinton, IA the son of John M. Sr. and Vera Esteline (Freeman) Dean. He was raised and educated Monmouth, attending Monmouth High School. 

John married Cindy Spangler on November 6, 1993, in Oquawka, IL and she survives. 

He was an engineer, installing motors for Envision Boats. 

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Dean of Monmouth; 3 brothers, Clay Dean, Bernie Dean and Darrin Dean; one sister, Gail Sage; numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
