Patricia E Ishmael

Patricia E. Ishmael, 65, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 11:33 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2017 at her home.

Patricia was born April 30, 1952 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Charles and Kathryn (Howell) Gillette. She was raised and educated in Monmouth, graduating from Monmouth High School in 1970.

Patricia married Edward E. Ishmael in Monmouth on August 21, 1999 and he survives.

She worked as a CNA for the last 30 years at Community Memorial Hospital and later at Western Illinois Home Health Care.

Patricia enjoyed flower gardening, camping, fishing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Edward E. Ishmael of Monmouth; two daughters, Paula Utzinger of Monmouth and Angelan Clark of Washington, IA; step-daughter, Dawn (Lance) Malcolm of Galesburg, IL; step-son, Kirk (Bobbi) Ishmael of Rochester, IL; eight grandchildren, Sophia Ishmael, Kenny Malcolm, Kelin Malcolm, Kayley Clark, Sydney Clark, Justin Simmering, Gracey Simmering and Ariaunnah Utzinger; great grandson, Ian Munson; her brother, Larry W. (Betsey) Gillette of Kirkwood, IL; two sisters, Barbara Franklin of Missouri and Carla Gillette of Monmouth; several other close relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son in law, David M. Clark and nephew, Larry E. Gillette.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 6, 2017 at McGuire and Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Memorials may be given to the Patricia Ishmael Memorial Fund.
