Peggy L. (Giddings) Bowling

Peggy L. Bowling, 65, of Galesburg, Il passed away at 12:42 am, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Allure of Galesburg, Galesburg, IL.

Peggy was born February 7, 1956 in Monmouth, Il the daughter of Marshall and Martha (Hall) Giddings.  She was raised and educated in Galesburg, attending Galesburg High School.

Peggy was a Taxi Cab Driver for United American Cab.  She also worked as a CNA for several area nursing homes.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and reading fantasy novels.

Survivors include her son, Dustin (Kaci) Bowling of Stronghurst, IL; Grandchildren, Kaylinn Bowling and JT Hurka; her mother Martha Lovell of Monmouth, IL; her sisters, Marsha (Gene) Dunn of Lake Warren, IL, Dawn Stevens and Paula (Tim) Larson of Texas; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, her son, Allen Bowling and her sister Karen Mendes.

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm, Thursday, October 28, 2021 at   McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.
