Monmouth

Randy L. Reynolds, 70, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 9:21 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. 

He was born on September 16, 1953 in Muscatine, IA, the son of Lyle E. and Betty A. (Fuller) Reynolds.   Randy was raised and educated in Milan and graduated from Rock Island High School in 1972.   

Randy married Mamie Stevenson on March 22, 1980 in Moline, IL and she survives. 

Randy worked as a tree trimmer for Aspludh and Wright Tree Service for over 35 years.  He always enjoyed going to the rodeo.  Randy loved to play baseball and softball his whole life.   He was an avid NASCAR fan.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his children and grandchildren.   

Surviving Randy is his wife, Mamie Reynolds of Monmouth, IL; his children, George (Brittanie) Reynolds of Alexis, IL, Chuck (Molly) Reynolds of Monmouth, IL, Randi Sue Reynolds of Monmouth, IL; his grandchildren, Amia, Bella, Lane, Moxon, Cole, Carter; his sisters, Kandy Pepper of Milan, IL, Joan Wetzel of Muscatine, IA, Sherry (Mike) Groyon of Florida; his aunts, Minnie Tarbell of Corydon, IA, Phyllis Snyder of Illinois City, IL.  Also surviving is special friend, Susan Isaacs of Thompsonville, IL, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.   

He was preceded in death by his parents.   

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A celebration of life will be from Noon till 10:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Lake Warren Pavilion, Monmouth, IL.  Memorials can be made to the Randy Reynolds Memorial Fund and can be sent to the funeral home.    McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.
