Donna L. Lee

Donna L. Lee, 86, of Monmouth, IL passed away at 9:35am, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at her home.

Donna was born November 10, 1934 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of William and Mabel L. (Hopkins) Hennenfent.  She was raised and educated in Monmouth, graduating from Monmouth High School.

Donna married Donald E. Lee on June 14, 1955 in Peoria, IL and he passed away on May 13, 2016.

She was a homemaker and farm wife. Donna was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church, Monmouth, IL. where she was an active volunteer.  She was a member of the J.W. Club and a couple’s card club.  She loved to dance and bowled in local leagues for several years.  She loved to flower garden and shop.

Donna is survived by her sons; Gary (Sherry) Lee and Steven (Kathy) Lee of both of Monmouth, Il.  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren; Gary (Jesi) Lee, Jr., Bill (Daniella) Lee, Christopher Lee, Melissa Wiegand, Justin Lee, Jaran (Kaley) Pheiffer and Jaime (Dallas) Bogner; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; her son in law, Barry Pheiffer of Wyoming, IL; 1 sister, Joyce Walton of Frankfort, KY;  and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her daughter, Cynthia L. Pheiffer.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth, IL. Open calling hours will be Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 9:00-5:00 pm at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.  Memorials can be given to Hospice Compassus. Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, all attendees are required to wear a mask and social distance.
