Elizabeth A. (Morris) White

Elizabeth A. White, 86, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

She was born on February 13, 1935 in Oquawka, IL, the daughter of Frank and Gladys (Meyer) Morris.  Elizabeth was raised and educated in Oquawka.

Elizabeth married Charles F. White on July 18, 1952 in Monmouth, IL; he preceded her in death on December 17, 1986.

Elizabeth worked at Wilson Foods in Monmouth for over 20 years.  She worked the last 12 years at County Market in Monmouth.  Elizabeth enjoyed her flowers and working in the yard.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

Surviving Elizabeth are her children, Rod (Cami) White of Denver CO, Roxanne (Tracy) Danes of Monmouth, IL; her grandchildren, Doug (Brittany) Kruse of Grand Rapids, MI, Russell (Tawny) Kruse of Asbury, IA, Michael White of Colorado, Erin White of Colorado, Joshua White of Colorado, Megan White of Colorado, Mikayla White of Colorado, Madison White of Colorado, Mei White of Colorado; her great grandchildren, Alexandria Kruse, Tayten Kruse, Teagan Kruse, Taeya Kruse, Caleb Hager.  Also surviving is granddaughter-in-law, Brandy Kruse of Quincy, IL, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles White, and grandson, Matthew Kruse.

A private family funeral service will be at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.  Interment will be in Monmouth Cemetery, Monmouth, IL.  Open visitation will be from 9:00 a.m.-5:00p.m., Friday, February 26, 2021 at the funeral home, the family will not be present.  Memorials can be made to the Monmouth United Methodist Church or Western Illinois Animal Rescue.  Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, all attendees are required to wear a mask and social distance.
