Martin Dan Romine

Martin Dan Romine, 75, of Monmouth, IL passed away at 5:15 am, Thursday, March 11, 2021 at his home.

Dan was born February 16, 1946 in Monmouth, IL the son of William Marshall and Gertrude Marie (Crockett) Romine.  He was raised and educated in Monmouth graduating from Monmouth High School in 1964.

Dan worked at Monmouth College in food service and Western Stoneware.  He later worked for Equipco, IMI McR, Inc. all in Monmouth.

Dan loved going to the Warren County Public Library.  He loved to walk all over Monmouth daily.  He enjoyed eating his meals at Cottage Corner along with watching current events, documentaries and action movies.

Survivors include his brothers, John Romine of Farmington, NM and Reed Romine of Kansas City, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother William Crockett Romine.

Cremation has been accorded. No visitation or services are planned at this time.  Memorials may be given to Warren County Public Library and sent to the funeral home. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL. is in charge of the arrangements.
