Tiffany Ann (Clevenger) Lair

Tiffany A. Lair, 49, of Alexis, Il passed away at 1:50 am, Monday, October 18, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic, Iowa City, Iowa.

Tiffany was born August 29, 1972 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Phillip L. and Terry A. (McKnight) Clevenger. She was raised and educated in Alexis, IL, graduating from Alexis High School in 1990.  She graduated from Eureka College in 1995 with a degree in Psychology.

Tiffany married Marcus Lair in Alexis IL on May 12, 2001 at the Alexis United Presbyterian Church and he survives.

Tiffany worked as an Administrator for Community Living Options in Galesburg for 22 years. She was instrumental in establishing the Alexis Veterans Memorial where she served as treasurer.

She was a member of the Alexis Presbyterian Church, Alexis Women’s Organizational League and the Alexis American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards especially pitch, playing and coaching softball and going on walks.

Survivors include her husband, Marcus Lair and her daughter Marly Lair of both of Alexis, IL; her faithful grand dog, Butch; her father, Phil (Kathy) Clevenger of Galesburg, IL; 2 sisters, Angie (Glen) Saline of Oneida, IL and Traci (Mark Greenstreet) Bertelsen of Monmouth, IL; several nieces and nephews; her dear friend, Chelsea Wilson of Bertram, TX.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Alexis Presbyterian Church, Alexis, IL. Interment will take place at the Alexis Cemetery.
